He, who does not claim that he is HINDU, is a real Hindu. It signifies the fact that he is not different from others in terms of biology and physiology.
Sanatana Dharma, which is understood as Hinduism means everlasting principles for all to lead a peaceful life. Vedanta, the basis of Hinduism emphasizes the need not only to accept but respect all living beings, by going beyond the fetters of religion and race, to realize the truth of oneness amidst all differences, which are non substantial, superficial and exists only at the physical level.
The follower of every religion thinks that his faith, his scriptures or his interpretation of it reveals the highest truth and therefore superior to others. How is a Hindu any better than a Muslim or a Christian, if he focuses on the points of differences in religious practices than those of agreement, knowing well that it has been the reason for human carnage from time immemorial? And this question is applicable to people from all religions.
It is painful for anyone to hear about the recent slaughtering of a young woman in India, a country, which professes to be the spiritual capital of the world, when there is a total abuse of religion meant for shaping the human mind for unity. Pathetic!!
Do we deserve to celebrate international men’s day today?
Beware. If you think you can benefit by accomplishing selfish goals from widening religious dichotomy, you are bound to meet with gory end, the law of nature says.
May there be peace, protection and freedom for all the daughters of Bharat. With blessings…
